Coaching Agreement

This agreement is made between Coach and Client


1. Purpose of Coaching

The purpose of this coaching relationship is to support the Client in achieving their goals, improving leadership capacity, and fostering personal and professional growth through actionable strategies and accountability.


2. Coaching Structure

  • Duration: Coaching is conducted in quarterly cycles (3 months), with a built-in reassessment period at the end of each quarter.

  • Sessions: Coaching sessions are 60 minutes, conducted [bi-weekly/weekly], with structured check-ins twice a week (not on weekends).

  • Framework: Coaching will utilize the Transformational Leadership ToolKit, including tools and systems like the IDEA Model.

  • Expectations: Sessions will focus on results-driven strategies, collaboration, and accountability.


3. Client Critical Behaviors

To ensure success, the Client agrees to commit to the following:

  1. Be Hungry: Stay motivated and committed to growth and improvement.

  2. Be Responsive: Communicate promptly and engage actively in the coaching process.

  3. Be Prepared: Approach each session with focus and readiness.

  4. Be Humble: Remain open to feedback, new ideas, and constructive criticism.

  5. Be Enjoyable: Foster a positive and collaborative relationship.


4. Accountability Framework (E³ Process)

The Coach will utilize the E³ accountability framework:

  • Encourage: Coaching sessions will focus on motivation, insight, and actionable strategies.

  • Entreat: If challenges or lapses occur, constructive conversations will address gaps and clarify commitments.

  • Enforce: If the Client fails to meet expectations (e.g., lack of effort, failure to attend sessions), the Coach reserves the right to terminate the coaching relationship.


Note: Termination under the Enforce step results in no refunds for the current quarter.


5. Responsibilities

Coach’s Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear, actionable guidance tailored to the Client’s goals.

  • Maintain confidentiality and create a safe, constructive environment.

  • Deliver tools, strategies, and feedback to drive measurable results.

Client’s Responsibilities:

  • Attend all scheduled sessions and be on time.

  • Complete assigned tasks, homework, and reflections between sessions.

  • Communicate openly and honestly about challenges, goals, and progress.


6. Payment & Commitment

  • Fees: Coaching fees are [Insert Amount] per quarter. Payment is due in full before the start of the quarter.

  • Commitment: The Client commits to one quarter at a time, with the option to reassess or renew the agreement at the end of the quarter.

  • Refund Policy: No refunds are provided for missed sessions or termination due to lack of engagement.


7. Communication

  • Regular check-ins will be conducted twice per week on [specific days] to ensure progress and accountability.

  • Clients may contact the Coach between sessions for urgent matters or clarifications via [preferred method of communication].


8. Termination

Either party may choose to discontinue the coaching relationship at the end of a quarter. Mid-quarter termination is subject to the E³ accountability framework and will not result in a refund.


9. Confidentiality

All information shared during coaching sessions will remain confidential, except in cases where disclosure is required by law.


10. Agreement Signatures

By signing below, both parties agree to the terms outlined in this Coaching Agreement.
